I can’t register product, because I don’t have API Keys section on my account settings page. What can I do?

How to get an API Key

What is an API Key?

An API Key is a security token that you can use to authenticate with our API. It is a secret, like a password, that should be protected. You can create more than one token. You should consider creating a different token for different access uses. For example, creating a token for FTP access only requires “View and search Envato sites” and “View your Envato Account username”.

Once you’ve registered your app, you’ll need to get an API Key. For more information, refer to our API documentation.

Follow these steps to fetch your API Key:

  1. Go to https://build.envato.com/create-token/.
  2. Choose a token name.
  3. In the permissions list below, make sure to check ‘View and search Envato sites’ and ‘View your Envato Account username’.
  4. Then, click Create Token .

But I don’t need a token, I just need a key to register a theme I have purchased.

but according to your topics post if you need api then you have to create an api personal token.
