Hi,
I’m trying to update a version of Uncode but I need to set a new API key - I click on settings and look for API Key in left hand menu but it’s not there.
Any ideas?
I have my purchase code etc.
Envato API personal token:
You can generate Envato API personal token here . Please make sure you set required Token permissions. It may prompt you to sign into your Envato account

Hi @design-factry,
Please follow @mgscoder’s instructions to get a new personal token and use that. Uncode was updated about four months ago to use personal tokens rather than our legacy API keys, so that should work for you.
Were there instructions somewhere to look for Settings -> API Key? If so, please let me know where you found them so either us or Uncode’s author can get them updated.

Hi there,
I have the same issue - when I click on settings the API key section is missing from the menu. And when I click on the link provided https://build.envato.com/create-token/ I immediately get redirected to the sign in page despite already being signed in.
What to do? I need the key to register my theme.

Hi @mgscoder I can sign in and get redirected to https://account.envato.com/
However, as soon as I navigate elsewhere trying to generate the token, it doesn’t work.
after loggied in if you can’t access https://build.envato.com then please clear browser cache and try again or try with different browser. If no luck then please open Help ticket and let them know. Envato Customer support team will be happy to check it for you.

Hi, i have generated an API for and ticked mkst of the boxes to register my uncode theme but when I do this the reigster button on my hosting site just spins round and round and it doesnt do anything, any advise?
Ok, ive got it to submit but now it says
Invalid credentials, or your Envato account does not have Uncode among purchased items

Hi, I have the same problem. In the theme instructions (Foodbakery) they say to go to Settings -> API Key. But I don’t have API key menu. I’ve juste create a new token. What I’m suppose to do next to have the API Key menu?

envato removed legacy API (Settings -> API) in favour of modern API ( https://build.envato.com ). everyone should to use this modern api.
