How to use a psd template on my joomla website? (landing page)

#1

Hi, I would like to buy some landing page PSD template I have seen on Envato website but the question is, How do I add this landing page into my actual website?
Are templates provided with all necessary modules?
The question looks definitely stupid to the most of you but have no idea how all it works in Envato.
Thank you for your suggestions-
Piero

Hey there, and welcome to the community forums! Let me explain the difference between products.

PSD Template - Are built using PhotoShop. These can later be converted to a Website, but as is, they are just Photoshop files. You can purchase one but in order to use it as a website you will need to convert it or hire a freelancer from Envato Studio to convert it for you.

Site Templates - Are built using HTML, CSS and JS. These are the default websites that have been around since the beginning of time. They are edited using code editors.

CMS Templates/Themes - These are just like Site Templates, but they are connected to an administrative pannel and can be installed to CMS’s like WordPress or Joomla ( depending on which category you purchase from)

It’s not stupid at all. We’re here to help and asking is always recommended before purchasing a product. If you find a file that you like, always be sure to read the item description and use the Item Comment section of that product to ask the author if the product can be used for your purposes. It’s better to know from the beginning what you’re purchasing rather than purchasing the wrong thing.

Hope this helps. Cheers!

Thank you for your reply, clear and complete.
Envato is a really surprisingly great resource of so many products and services I wouldn’t imagine of. Think I’ll go unlimited

Hi,
Why you don’t buy a theme for Joomla with page builder or pay someone to make for your custom landing page?

Best regards

There are awesome advantages for Envato Elements and Envato Marketplaces too! If you’re a beginner, I would recommend getting Envato Elements, which indeed is unlimited, and you can try a variety of themes, but remember, Envato Elements does not provide support for the themes included. The cost of an individual product on Elements is less than 0.0055$, which is a greeeeat deal. Most products have awesome documentation files that will help you and guide you in a step by step installation of that product.

If however you’re looking for hands on support from an author, you can always come back to Envato Market and purchase a license for the product you got from Elements. This license will allow free, lifetime updates for that product and a 6 month included support pack which can be extended!

Cheers and glad to have helped out!
