How do I add Davinci Resolve templates to my project?

Hello, I just downloaded the “Scribbles_v2” template for Davinci Resolve. I can open up the project as the instructions say, but I have no way to copy and paste them to my own project that I’m editing my video in. Every time I try to do this, it says “Media Offline”.

Can someone please advise on how to actually add and USE these templates that I downloaded into my project, rather than just look at them in their own project?

I’m sorry to hear that you’re having trouble copying and pasting the templates into your own project.

To add the templates to your project👉 you will need to first import them into your media pool. To do this, go to the media page in Davinci Resolve and click on the import button. Select the template file and import it into your media pool.

Once the template is in your media pool, you can then drag and drop it onto your timeline to use it in your project. If you’re still experiencing issues with “Media Offline” messages, it’s possible that the media files used in the template are not located in the same directory as your project files. In this case, you will need to relink the media files by right-clicking on the offline media and selecting “relink”.

I hope this helps, and please don’t hesitate to reach out to our support team if you have any further questions or concerns.

Hi, I am having the same issue! Also downloaded Scribble V2 and see no way to get graphics from the Davinci Resolve project file into my project. I tried the directions in your last comment and it just opens up the Scribbles drp file. It’s so strange that your video instructions show how to open the project, customize the elements, and then it stops! How am I supposed to use these?
