How can temporarily cancel my subscription?

Hello,

I have been subscribed with yearly subscription to Elements Envato for the last 2 years, more precisely since ‘Jun 14, 2021’ and at first I was paying a monthly subscription (3 months) and then I decided to switch to yearly and I already paid 2 full years.

At the current moment I have to pay for the next year subscription. My main question is, can I temporarily cancel my subscription and re-enable it at a future stage? The problem is I have quite a lot of expenses this month and even if I can afford to pay the subscription, I really intend to re-enable it in 2/3 months when I will start working again on the projects assigned on my account (right now most of them are stale).

Since the transaction got declined (I forgot to top-up this morning), even if I try to cancel it tells me that the subscription will terminate next year and that I have due the amount. “Your subscription payment failed and is now overdue. Please update your payment details and we will attempt to process your payment immediately.”

Any ideas of how I can handle this?
As I said I really intend to re-subscribe at a later point but this month is harsh on money :slight_smile:

There’s no “temporarily” cancellation, you can cancel it anytime and subscribe again when you need.

What will happen after I cancel?

Between now and the date your subscription would have renewed:

  • Your current subscription will still be valid.
  • You can continue downloading and creating new licenses.
  • There will not be any pro-rata refunds.

So, if you cancel subscription Your current subscription will still be valid for the rest of the plan renew date. then auto renewal will not be done.

Even if I try to cancel it tells me that it will be active till next year :slight_smile:

What will happen after I cancel?
Between now and Aug 31, 2024:

your current subscription will still be valid
you can continue downloading and creating new licenses
there will not be any refunds
