You should probably start by not breaching your legal agreement with envato and selling items on your website when you are an exclusive author.

Hello,

I submitted my plugin into CodeCanyon and get hard reject. The plugin let you build a location based directory into your theme. Since itā€™s a plugin, we are letting the customer to define its style.

Hi, Thanks for creating this thread. I had a hard rejection of my PSD template today. Can i share that with you for the evaluation? Should i share the JPG files or you need full psd files for suggestions to avoid hard reject in future. Thanks for any help in advance.

I got my Admin Template hard rejected.

Reason:
Unfortunately, your submission is too similar to existing item(s) in our marketplace. Your upload must be a unique concept not based on any existing marketplace item.

Please help with this as i have invested a lot of time in this project and now it is hard rejected.

What do i need to do to resubmit and get this project approved, as it is mentioned by envato that you cannot resubmit this item again on the marketplace.

My WP theme also hard rejected. I donā€™t know why Envato review team rejecting some items. I see less quality items approved.

I have submitted for 2 times my theme but they write me this:

Unfortunately ā€˜WordPressā€™ has higher standards in terms of aesthetics. As higher quality items become available in the marketplace, approval requirements will increase to maintain appropriate marketplace quality.

While Iā€™d be able to provide feedback as to how to get this approved, I can only do after it has crossed a certain threshold, quality wise. Iā€™m sorry to say this isnā€™t there yet.

@albertopisaroni I hope the comments below can help you to improve your work: Overall, this theme looks too simple, you should consider changing the font, images. There are some missing parts which should be included in a normal blog theme.

About header:

  • You should change logo, nav should add some other information like social icon, search bar
  • Feature post should be placed on the top, not put it in the about section: https://theissue.fuelthemes.net/issue-07/

Main content:

  • Heading is too big
  • Should add more information like date, author, categories, sharing, etc. http://prntscr.com/oqcd70
  • Button should show the information clearly: read more, view more, etc.
  • Add more types of posts: video, quote, no image, etc.
  • In one homepage you should use different types of layouts`

Hi,
Actually you donā€™t understand the market Design. Please compare your product with the newest items approved in the marketplace then you itself reject your own item. I hope you will understand the market trends.

I can tell you a simple way to get accept is that your product should beat the newest product approved in the marketplace in terms of design.

Themeforest requires the design not your coding. if you fail in terms of design They will hard reject you. if you fail in the terms of coding they will soft reject you
