I know that it is possible to put images into the item description with tag and the image file suppose to be placed on any server. However, when I inspect the image element in someone’s product item I see image addresses on https://camo.envatousercontent.com/11. Does it mean that the image files are copied to the Envato server?
If the image is “http://” (insecure), Envato will proxy it through camo.envatousercontent.com to make it secure, so that it can load on the marketplace sites. This is fully automatic and you do not need to do anything for this to happen.
If your image is “https://” (secure), they will not proxy it, and it will load directly from your website.
