Hello, I am a new author and I have a question
for earnings
I sold an item(motion graphic) worth $23. The site takes $3 and tax is 30%. So my profit is $14. Why is my profit now $12.50?
And when I sold another item for $36, the sum of the two items was $23.22??

Maybe that sale was for US buyer and US Withholding Tax has taken from your sale.
( ( List Price/Purchase Price - Buyer fee ) - Withholding Tax ) - Author fee = Author Earning

Check your Statements page there you will get full details of your earnings.
