I have created page, now wish to add it to the header menu, I assumed once the page was published it would show up but the header element is still empty. I have added 2 images, the blank header is my site the demo shows links, how do I get my pages to show up ?
Curious, when you install these kits, should the header have the navigation links already there (as seen in demo) or is that something added manually after the pages are created?
Issue solved and I want to share because I feel many others will have the same issues. In order to make the navigation links show up you have to use the Twenty Twenty-One Version: 1.8 By the WordPress team, the conflict came from themes Twenty Twenty-Two and Twenty Twenty-Three menus options.
Why are you not using Hello Theme? The Hello theme was designed by Elementor, so you’ll never have compatibility issues with the Elementor Editor or Theme Builder.
thanks for the advice, I’m new to this software, I typically use Elegant Themes so it’s been a little bit of a learning curve. Thanks for the support everyone!
Elementor kits do not control the WordPress menu, which is handled in Appearance > Menus (or Appearance > Customize > Menus). Why the default WordPress theme does not support nav menus is anyone’s guess!
The quick solution is to use the Hello Elementor theme which is installed free under Appearance > Themes > Add New
Once you create a menu, it will usually load in the header template, if not, simply edit the template and select the menu widget in the Navigator to select the menu to use. Depending on your kit, the header template may be setup in Templates > Theme Builder (Elementor Pro) or Appearance > Header Footer (if using Header Footer Blocks plugin) or a 3rd party addon - notes for how to setup headers are in the item description of the kit on the Envato website.
