Hello Envato community,
I recently submitted a React.js + Tailwind CSS eCommerce Admin Dashboard** template to CodeCanyon, but unfortunately, it was **hard rejected. The message from the reviewer was the general “it isn’t at the quality standard…” without further explanation.
A bit about the template:
- Built using React.js (Functional Components)
- Styled using Tailwind CSS
- Fully responsive layout
- Includes common eCommerce dashboard features like:
- Sales analytics
- Orders table
- Product management UI
- Sidebar navigation, light/dark mode, etc.
My questions to the community:
- Why was it rejected?* I’d really appreciate if anyone could check the structure, quality, or maybe offer insights on what might be missing or done wrong.
- Code Quality Best Practices: As a frontend developer, what code standards and file structures do Envato reviewers expect?
- Component Reusability: Are there specific guidelines for making reusable components in React for marketplaces like CodeCanyon?
- Docs & Demos: How much weight do documentation and demo previews carry in approval?
- Examples: Can anyone share examples of accepted dashboard templates for comparison?
