First, Iād like to apologise for the inconvenience - I know this has caused a lot of frustration. Free Files from the Envato marketplaces are nominated by our authors via a central nominations thread on these forums, and are used in a variety of ways - from the Free File of the Month that appears on each marketās homepage, to shorter-duration freebies that are included in email campaigns.
We have now removed the School Management Plugin for WP item from the current free file promotion. The link in last weekās āFriday Feelsā email now redirects to a new freebie, which you can also access directly here.
Weāre looking into ways to avoid this in future, working with all the different teams that use free files for various promotions, and we will also update future Free File nomination processes to make sure we donāt use any items that require a purchase code for activation.
