Very decent work, I would forecast a lot of sales on this one, as it is very quality work and beautiful!

Hi, Thank you. Other people have said the same. Truth is, unless you want to gig, there is no money in signing to EDM labels. I have been in the music business for some years and released in many genres and I have seen the whole system deteriorate since vinyl days. Piracy is only a small problem though.
You know why? Everyone is a āproducerā these days. lol, Thatās the real problem. People are only interested in selling their music, not buying other peoples.
I am talking about selling on itunes, beatport etcā¦ Music for licensing/stock music etcā¦ is a big difference though.
But this isnāt a rant, just some reality. I am very optimistic for my music for licensing and the best is to come. I have spent all December creating orchestral & trailer music. Got 7 big tracks to up load this month.

Im happy that you tuned positively, this is very important. But, what about labels such as Armada (and sub-labels), Revealed, Protocol. They won
t release "everyone is producers" music, right. So if you have a really quality material, why don
t you try to release on such a big label who have a huge audience and who can really sell. Sure, most of labes, maybe more than 90% will not sell and distribute at all, cause they just doing nothing. Tell me if I`m wrong about that?

Gotta agree with that. It seems people on audio jungle are into the Law of Atā¦ Well, you know! lol
One thing to consider: I remember a ābig name producerā Grammy nominated I think too, disclosing his royalty payment from the sale of a whole album! It was ridiculous. He decided to give away his music for free because people were just not paying for it.
Now this producer gigs and gets a tone of money from it I am sure. But from sales of the songs? Not according to him.
Show me a music producer releasing on the labels you mention that is not Djing too? This is the reason my there are so many bad DJās and these āstarsā donāt know how to mix. Because they are producers/not djās but have to do it for the money. We all need an income. I was djing on vinyl since I was 10 years old and cutting up tapes before that so I know what real mixing is. lol
But lets not get negative. This is only my experience over the last 20 years. Like I say, I am very positive about licensing my music. I had a broadcast licence sold just before Christmas. Thatās given me a taste of whatās to come!

Of course, it is great that youre defined about your way :) Actually, I don
t hope much on labels, Im just sending them my last Prog house material from times to times, but do not expecting much. Sure I will have to learn DJ gear and process if my track will be accepted by big label, so I
m ready for this! It is cool that you can do DJ work, it is I thing a good advantage for you.
I`ve just decided to send ābackground music by natureā to Audiojungle and other stock sites. And send dance music to dance labels. But probably I will change my approach with time.
Amazing that you had such a nice sale! You can really make your living with Broadcast licenses! Wish you more of these
Thanks! But to clarify the Djing thing, I do not and do not want to DJ now (I have kids now) and havenāt for some time. If I did, I would be sending tracks to big labels.
Good luck with it anyway. I like the saying: A Winner never quits; A quitter never Wins. Sometimes changing directions and focus isnāt quitting though.
Hey guys, the thread is still alive and actual! So if you want to recieve and give comments, let`s go!
