Envato license spot

Hi there,

I have recently asked someone to create a theme for me in my Shopify shop, the person is currently unavailable, and he didn’t even take the money, that’s why I can’t ask him about it.

The question is, how do I know if my theme is with License to use as an end user, where can I find the verification or something about that.

Unless you have the purchase code or the developer has set up a token via the envato plugin, then it’s going to be very hard to prove either way.

You could buy a new copy/license under your own name BUT you would still want to be sure that the version the developer has installed is legit, not being used elsewhere etc.
