Not functionality and flexibility, only design and marketing?
After all, we buy (at least, I) something that makes a visual impression on us. It could be the product itself or the way it’s presented (powerful videos, interactive one-page sites that talk about the product) and something else like that.
The % of buyers here who truely have the expertise (or interest in) assessing functionality in detail is tiny compared to the % who will be impressed by great demos that visualise item potential.
As for marketing - that’s irrelevant as it is important regardless of if the item is functional or more about design
