I read the terms in both licenses but not quite sure yet.
What is the difference between regular and extended license if both can be sold to one client? I mean if both are sold to one client then why would someone buy the extended license?
As of your experience: do your product buyers get the regular or the extended one?
If you are freelancer, which one do you get for your clients?
Regular License: You can use it to create ‘an’ application item(one same item) and distribute it FREE of charge to others(multiple persons).
Extended License: You can use it to create ‘an’ application item(one same item) and ‘sell it for charge or distribute’ it FREE of charge to others(multiple persons as in ENVATO marketplaces).
So, as I understood, it’s the only about FREE distribution(no charge) or SELL(charge) for your END-users.
Thank you XeePress. ok Got you, but it also says as a note to freelancers that they can charge for the services they provide to the client with the regular license. hmm it just doesn’t make sense for me that why would some one buy the extended license if they can still make money with the regular license.

That case may be the customization work for an end-user, not multiple users(as if you customize the theme that a user bought). It’s considred that an end-user selects and buys a theme, then you execute customization it for the user. To say, it’s not you who purchase the theme but the end-user. But if you want to sell your application to many people as in TF, you should probably buy an extended license.

thank you that cleared up my confusion :))
I have read all the matter here. But I am confuse with regular license and extended license.
My question is?
If lots of people will buy same theme and make game for him with this theme.
So, How can they launch their game with same theme? I think all will be copyright for each other. :-(
:-(
I think these type of graphics should be one time downloads.
What are you think? about it.
Please explain.
Thanks.
Hi,I am still confused … my case is i want to buy a theme and use it for my company where i will sell products online and services (subscription services) to my customers as my company provide business serivces as well.So now should i buy the regular or extended license?
Hi @moshaarawy if you selling your good and subscription only on your business website then standard license is enough but if you give access to customer and they are able to content uploading/submission then you have to get extended license.
1. Regular License: You can use it to create ‘an’ application item(one same item) and distribute it FREE of charge to others(multiple persons).
2. Extended License: You can use it to create ‘an’ application item(one same item) and ‘sell it for charge or distribute’ it FREE of charge to others(multiple persons as in ENVATO marketplaces).
yea more clear now thanks so much - But one more thing to confirm so if i’ve turned the website into a B2B e-commerce website where subscribers can add their products then this will require an extended license.
