Copyright use with Envato templates

Hello all,

I’m beginig with Envato and it’s template system and i’m facing a question that i can hardly answer myself.
I bought an HTML template, Purefive, and i would like to know if it’s legally allowed to change the copyright in the footer since i bought the template and changed the website design.

Morally it’s questionable but legally it’s ok

I think a fair compromise would be to just remove it, rather than adding your own.
