Hey guys,
I have a problem. I want to convert my .png file to .cur.
I installed a plugin for my Photoshop CS5 version. But the .cur file is not the right one.
Can anyone help me? Can someone convert it the right way for me 
?
I think cur files a basically bmp files with some extra header info.
Try to create a bmp and rename it to cur

You can use a .png:
cursor:url(../img/zoom.png), -moz-zoom-in;
create your png in photoshop.
Download the free trial (30 days) axialis Cursorworkshop.
Open the png and create new cursor project from png.
If you consider doing it often, you can buy the full version. No affiliation whatsoever with axialis, just thought I would share how i do it

Is this working in all browsers?
You might want to look up this link on compatibility:
Internet Explorer up to and including version 8 only support URI values of type .CUR and .ANI. (The other listed browsers list have support for .CUR, .PNG, .GIF and .JPG but not .ANI .) Note also that the Windows operating system requires the image to be 32 x 32 pixels or smaller although the specifications do allow for larger sizes than this.
