Our theme auto-updated last week, since then none of our portfolio posts are visible on the site, even though they still exist, are public, and have feature images set.

Hi @FortyfiveDesign,
There’s a script error on your website which prevents the portfolio grid from displaying. Can you try to disable your minification plugin (seems you’re using Better WordPress Minify) and see if it starts working again?
