Cannot Change EMAIL ADDRESS to get what was PURCHASED

Entered the incorrect email address on purchase. When I try to update the email address via the Envato Marketplace it says incorrect password - despite it being the correct password since I was able to log into the marketplace with it.

I tried signing out and back in. Each attempt to change the email address so that confirmation email can get through it greeted with incorrect password. Can sign in with no issues, just not update the email password.
