Hi, I need help finding audio by an audio sample from the video presentation, is this possible?
Like, find a picture by picture ib Google search!
Hi serhiik, If you can somehow get the audio from the video, you could upload a video on YouTube with that same audio and see if YouTube detects a copyright claim on the music during the upload process. That should tell you who the copyright holder is, at least. Although, this only works if the author of the music has registered the music with a content ID service.
If it’s a commercial track, you could try Shazam.
Other than that, I’m not sure what else you can do, apart from share a link to the video on here and see if anyone here recognises the tune…
The Content ID thing isn’t actually working. Took one of the audios where it says it has a Content ID registered etc., posted it on Youtube with empty video and no copyright warnings were rised…
I have been using AudioJungle for over 10 years and I remember that they used to have a service where you upload the song you are looking for an they identify it for you. Now that I need it, I can’t remember the link, or maybe they took down the service all together.
Hi. There is no official ‘search by song’ service. You can try checking the data you have—your purchase history, the MP3 tags of the file (if available), or uploading a test video with the song to see if it’s registered in Content ID. In the last case, you might get more information about the song, such as the author and track name.
Hi LumenMedia thanks so much for the quick reply. Thanks for the confirmation. Just for your info, there used to be (all you had to do was upload a sample of the song to audiojungle) but I guess they took it out. Again, we are talking 10-15 years ago.
Also thanks for all the work around suggestions, much appreciated.
Thanks, no problem.
