13 days without sales. Santa go away, I’m in mourning.
Unsurprising slow start to the year. Hopefully the week ahead will pick up some steam.
If someone is curious how AJ performed during 2019, here’s the graph:
That graph certainly corresponds with how my sales went down in the last months of 2019.
October was good for me and then November onwards sales almost completely stopped last year for me.
4 sales so far. Good thing is that they come from two latest items (with slightly increased prices as well), not old ones, as i expected. Actually, i am even a little surprised. I will continue with new uploads, becuase it is getting interesting. For now at least
No sales so far.
Happy New Year from me, mates!
One sale for the whole last week, so nothing new…
No high hopes for this year, but won’t stop grinding for sure!
Wish you all a great selling week, month and year!
Same here, 1 sale
Never deader. 2 sales so far. Holiday season in the abyss. Lasciate ogni speranza.
No sales so far. I’m pretty upset since it’s been around 40+ days since my last sale. Not the worst I’ve had, but last year January was pretty awesome, with sales coming in from the first days after a decent December in 2018. And now a catastrophic December with zero sales, and January hasn’t started yet. I’m a bit worried.
Business starts (if any) from 7.Jan after returning from vacation in EMEA
USA colleges and uni vacation December 23 to mid/end of January
So don´t expect much till Feb.
Time to produce some new tracks and make a plan for new ways of promotion.
The beginning of the month was bad, there were no big licenses for so long that I forgot when it was the last time!
Looking at the weekly bestsellers in my favourite Classical category, It’s clear that sales are 2-3 times slower than usual for everyone. A pretty rough start of the year.
i don’t know, maybe it’s only me
now i’m 12 sales this year, according to last year this 2020 starts better
i’ve produced a tons of SFX so fast review time it’s good for my garden
After two hard rejects in as many days i’ve really gotta question why i’m hitting my head against the wall here. It’s been a great place to hone my craft a bit, and I love the fact that I can maintain ownership of my tracks. Up until a few months ago, I could pretty much count on a few sales per piece, with some doing better than others. It wasn’t job replacing money, but it was damn good hobby money. Lately, the sales have dried up, envato has made it obvious that they don’t really care about the majority of us, and the upload process is just too much of a pita to really justify getting hard rejects on tracks that I know aren’t of any worse quality that what I’ve been presenting and selling here
I’ve been lucky enough to land some album deals with upfronts over the past year ranging from $100US to $150US per track (sorry but I won’t share)… BUT giving up my publishing/syncs (keep my writers). I’ve done a few but I really wanted to stay independent, unfortunately it doesn’t look like the stock market is going to allow for that.
Just a rant, things have really sh*t the bed in the stock world this past year… hopefully it picks up my dudes!
Totally understand you. Everything went downhill last year for me as well. But now, it seems, things are picking up. It took me 6 months to get back to AJ, i had almost exactly the same thoughts. So don’t give up, AJ is a rollercoaster, but being active definitely helps. Who knows what 2020 may bring!
Welcome back Envato Elements Banner
Pretty slow sales, but the month is starting to wake up.
Merry Christmas (for those who celebrate today)!
The month has not started for me I guess Patience is a key !
But I’ve got approvals these last weeks, so it’s on a good way
