I need 4-5 sales to surpass my 2017 sales record, which was my best on AJ up to now, so i truly hope this weekend and the last week of November are full of great sales for us, mates!
Sorry for the late reply (I was out of Audiojungle for a while).
To answer your question : Very few sales are paid with Envato Credits now (around 1 in 10).
My number of sales have dropped, but I have been inactive since two or three months, so I don’t have any solid theory to share about sales for now.
Good luck to you
Sales are slow, that’s true. By the way I have not got any sale paid with Envato Credits in November (60% Credit Card, 40% Paypal)
Thanks for sharing, I had 1 credits invoice this month, I used to have around 10 in average. So looks like the credits are coming to an end.
Good luck to you as well!
22 hours without sales! Still dead.
Got one sale this week but haven’t had anything new added in 3 weeks so can’t complain, got 8 new items pending though Also testing out new logo. @CleanMagicAudio this better or worse than my old logo?
from a free site tho so if anyone knows of someone else using one similar pls lemme know : )
It looks good, but the headphones looked nicer in my opinion.
Yeah after sleeping on it I’d have to agree, thanks I’ll try some other logos out.
Without any theories at hand, this has been one of the worst weeks of this year on AJ.
I have no clue what happened, but since halfway this month sales have dropped harder then…
then something that drops really hard!
Elements…
Elements could be a reason indeed LOiME.
But i find it hard to believe that in such a short notice, with just a few authors having joined elements, it could absolutely DESTROY my sales like this. Plus i dont have the standard “epic” and corporate tracks, so my tracks should not be crossing paths with elements tracks this hard.
I just read that Envato has rolled out some changes in the search engine… could be that, and if it stays like this i am in absolute trouble.
However, need to stay positive and keep working hard… things can change again for the better.
I am not too sure that it can all be blamed on elements. Thanks giving, Black Friday and Cyber weekend all comes in to factor on the slowness. Envato credits run out, scrabbling to get authorisation to spend on the company credit card also springs to mind.
Agreed, US buyers are on holiday, the rest saw 50% off cyber monday, then $16.50 a month for unlimited music. Surely that factors hit quite hard
Just sold my first track in 12 days and my second this month. Color me happy! There’s a lot of room for improvement here, but I also know I’ve had it far worse than this. Also, I’m happy someone from my own country bought the item. It’s actually a first for me.
A sale today, week without sales and weekend with sale (usually that happens to me)
Worst cyber Monday sale ever! My featured track had more sales last week when it was 29$
Hi, Robert. Could you tell something about a changes in the search engine? Thanks!
I have a feeling many buyers are getting used to mindlessly closing the banner at the top, therefore inadvertently missing out on visiting the sale page. Also, there are so many items on that page that it would be hard for each and every one to get enough exposure. Lastly, since everyone else can now change their prices freely, discounted items no longer look as attractive as they once did.
I think Robert that the way Elements is being promoted at the top within the banner “Go Unlimited” or words to that effect is prompting some buyers to subscribe to this service only to find out that what they want is not available within Elements. Just read some customer posts within the forum. Envato really should make it very clear to all that Elements does not include all items on the market to download on Elements. Back to basics I’m afraid.
