Hi Admin.

I want to ask about, Tax Information, which is my concern

  1. I don’t have a Taxpayer Number, can I become an author on Envato?
  2. If you really have to pay taxes, what if I die / die. while the state of my account is still active on Envato?
  3. If at any time I want to be free from all ties in envato, and stop from envato, then how?

  1. Yes, but it can result in you having more tax withheld if you don’t have a tax ID number.

  2. If you die then your account will carry on as it would if you were alive. Items will still be offered for sale, sales will still be made, taxes withheld and payouts made. You’d be best have some kind of contingency planning so whoever handles your estate are aware of your Envato account.

  3. Drop them an email. But you can remove your items from the platform at any time, and once they’ve sent you your final payment you’ll have no more sales, taxes withheld, payments etc.
