AE Template Not Working

My client downloaded a template that he wants me to use, and when I open it, there are elements missing. This is the file:

When I open it, it doesn’t have any of the animated crystals, just the background and light flare. I’m on a super tight deadline and client is insisting on using this template. Please help!

He’s probably just sent you the actual After Effects file rather than a project folder which contains any required assets and the AE file. Double check he’s sending you everything he has.

He did send everything, and I even downloaded it myself with my own account. It requires Element 3D, but those effects aren’t working. I’m working in the latest version of CC for Mac, so I don’t know what the problem is.

Hi, make sure you have Element 3D installed on your Mac and when opening the project files, link the missing asset on Element 3D panel.

Yes, I do, and I did reconnect any files that needed to be relinked. It shows that the effect is there in the project window and timeline, it just doesn’t do anything.

Hi, I was just wondering if you by any chance have solved the problem? I’ve got the exact same problem and this is the only post on the internet that I’ve found that mentions this particular issue. It would be of great help if you could let me know if there is any solution that you may have found.

I am having the same issue with the MagicalFireReveal Template. When I open the project it tells me that 7 files are missing since the project was last saved, but I have not idea which files those are or where I might find them to relink. I am pretty new to After Effects and would appreciate any help. Thank you!

I never figured it out. The client fired me and told me I was stupid, so I didn’t even try to fix it after that.

Sorry, I never figured this out. The client fired me before I could come up with a solution.

If your video is in drive D and audio in drive E . Your client also have to place video and audio to specific folders . My english isn’t good . I hope you understand
