Working with themes - if not supported with Elementor.

Hello, I hope everyone has a great day, and I appreciate anyone consider helping me.

My first question is regard envato themes -
I’m working with Elementor, and there are a lot of themes match to my description but it not said that it is compatible with Elementor.

What exactly does it mean? How would I edit my website then? If I buy a theme without Elementor, what I actually get?

Could I still edit the website with Elementor, or not at all? if yes, is it recommended?

Second question:

For people with knowledge with CSS, how do I change my theme to RTL mode?
How do I know if a theme is good for RTL mode before I buy it in envato?

Also you can use left side filter to find a theme to meet your requirements.

Also You can ask your pre-purchase query directly to the theme author by posting comments going through the theme Comments page. theme author will answer your query.

As for the RTL, here is the tutorial how to make a theme RTL:

However, it is much easier to just buy a theme which supports RTL out of the box, because doing it by yourself is not a trivial task. Here are all themes which support Elementor and mention RTL in their description:

You should contact the author and confirm if the RTL is 100% supported before the purchase of course.

If the theme is already RTL supported, how can I change it to rtl? (has it’s default is probably LTR).

It will automatically switch to RTL when you switch to a RTL language in the WordPress admin.

How does you make the changes? you need to download different editor?

Well, it depends on the theme. Some support native WP editor - Gutenberg, some work with other 3rd party ones like WPBakery.

Could you still be able to edit in Elementor or not?

Again, custom theme elements won’t be available in Elementor, you can still use elementor’s built-in elements.
