You just can’t take anything for granted these days.

Well that’s because whoever created it doesn’t understand the PDF format as you say - if you create in a format that exports to a proper PDF that is using text then no problems - of course ours are done the correct way.

While certain authors might have different interpretations of “correct”, I like yours. LOL.
