August, September, October and almost all November, I think we have been more that patient, don’t you think @scottwills ? plus all the previous months…It’s gonna be a new record! Do we get a new badge for Envato not resolving this issue for one year? And now with the Themeforest homepage update we even lost the link to the Popular PSD you kindly gave us that helped with exposure!
How long are we gonna have to keep waiting?
Hi guys, I’m gonna mention you so you can also give your input about this (hope you don’t mind), seeing that with the new homepage changes the “Popular PSD Templates” banner was removed and that, added to the bug that the “UI Design” category link only links to sketch templates and not sketch and psd, we think it will start affecting sales.

They are not going to change this. The new policy i guess is ignore authors until they stop posting

I actually contacted them about this issue of only showing sketch templates, and they said & I quote,
“It’s just a decision that was made to work around technical limitations with our menu and search. Since “UI Design” is not an item category, our system doesn’t have a category page we can link to for both PSD Templates and Sketch Templates, so we had to pick one for the top menu link.”
So they basically said, PSD category comes under UI Design but at the same time it doesn’t. 
Not to mention they chose the category which gets 1 or 2 products added in a month over one getting 3-4 daily.
I believe arguing beyond this is just wasting our time we can spend on better things as it seems they dont care about the PSD category anymore.

Thanks for the answer @VikramVerma! That’s a shame, anyway we still have things that we never got an answer, that’s why I called our friendly neighbor @scottwills to see if he can help because the last time we didn’t get any response from anyone from the product team .
Questions like:
1- Why they removed the Popular PSD from the dropdown, seeing that the popular section is still active https://themeforest.net/popular_item/by_category?category=psd-templates, why don’t they just put the link in the dropdown “Popular PSD Files”? As an author with a big focus on PSD templates this hurts us really bad in both sales and partnership prospects.
2- Or why did they chose to link sketch templates where the last sketch item uploaded was on September the 2nd, almost 3 months ago!! And if they are doing it because of the reasons they gave you, why the can’t just divide the categories (make them both categories), there’s plenty of room to fit both of them in the menu bar or (with all due respect) just move the sketch one to the “More” Category, seeing that, as we said before, the last item was uploaded 3 months ago.
Now the change of Themeforest homepage was the final nail in the coffin, having lost the link to the Popular PSD Scott kindly gave us that helped with exposure.
Here is what I see. Envato combined PSD Template and Sketch Template into one category that called UI Design, but now We (Authors) even cannot submit the Sketch Template. You can check on Submission in the dashboard.
In fact, all categories like WordPress, Site templates, Muse, etc… All of them have the Popular weekly. The earning of UI templates is not much, and I bet that why Envato don’t see it necessary anymore. Envato is now launching Envato Elements where people can buy a subscription for a low price to download any item available there. I think one day Envato would remove UI category, and say to authors let’s go to Envato elements and submit UI designs to get money in there.
We (UI designers) are losing money; we are losing the chances to collaborate with other WordPress authors. And losing a place to promo your WordPress item (If you have).
I would like Envato to put back the Weekly Popular for PSD Template. And I think that is what UI Designer want to. Please consider.
