I submitted my first track for approval 5 days ago now. Why is it taking so long to get approved?

Because you’re not the only one submitting.

There must be something like 1000 submission per day. It takes time to review all these. Currently the queue time is about 12 days. It does fluctuate, so you can check this thread, for current queue time.

You can often refer to the average review times at the link below as a guideline, but these are just averages and the actual review time could be few days shorter or longer than those listed:
