Uploading New Rule

  1. In the current version of the export plugin, Elementor Pro kits will detect and autoload all templates from your Elementor template library, so there is no need to create copies in the Template Kit Export > Templates area. Instead, be sure to save pages as templates (for example Teamhelp Home, Teamhelp About etc) and all templates under Template Kit Export can be deleted or set to private. In export, you should see all theme builder templates, and also all page templates with a notice “This is a Page Template for Elementor Pro”. as usual ensure both boxes are checked for templates you want to include in export and select the appropriate template type (all pages are Single: Page unless part of the theme builder).

Can you please help me to understand this, or maybe you have an article related the topic. I don’t understand where Template Area that Envato mean, and deleting the template etc

Please who know help me

Hello!

I know we got you sorted out but I wanted to reply here in case other authors are curious about this change.

  1. Always check the extended build guide link for updates, we usually put them there right away.
  2. The current version of the export plugin will see all templates in your Elementor Template Library (Templates > Saved Templates) if your kit uses Elementor Pro, which means Theme Builder, pages and containers. To aid in simplifying development, maintenance and reduce user confusion, you should be exporting with these templates only and not creating copies under Template Kit > Export. Template library templates will show “This is a Page template for Elementor Pro”.
  3. The global kit styles should always appear at top-left of the export order. This is important because it is used as the cover for your template in the plugin for Elements customers. When exporting, make sure you’re not including any copies of the global kit styles.
  4. There is a bug in WPMet plugins (ElementsKit or Metform) that interferes with the template sort order if you have templates in both the export area AND the elementor library, whether your kit uses Pro or not. If your kit is NOT using Pro, make sure the Templates > Saved templates are set to private to prevent them from being picked up in export. If your kit uses Pro, make sure there are no templates in the Template Kit > Export templates area. Additionally, your site must be using Post Name permalinks.
