Uploading a Shopify Theme from Envato Elements

Hi, I have downloaded a free Shopify theme from:

However, when trying to upload it states that the ZIP Folder is too large. How do I fix it?

I have already made the accident of trying it with themes that are not compactible with Shopify but this one clearly states Shopify. I have heard that some has to extract the Zip folder and pack it again but I have no idea on what that means.

Anyone help?

Hi @ministryofchrist,

Seems that you are uploading wrong .zip file. You should unzip package you downloaded from themeforest/elements and you will find another .zip in it, which should be called like your THEM-NAME.zip. Please try to install that .zip

Thank you. It worked. There was 3 theme folders depending on which home screen I wanted to use.

I am also struggling with its customising. Is there a way of removing and adding sections in these Themes when I customise on Shopify? I have also asked this question separately.

You can try to contact the theme author from their profile page right side contact form and ask them your query. Theme Author is the right team to advice this technical query. Thanks
