Upload your first item

I am new user. How to upload first item? I cant do that. I click uplaod but page just reloads(

Good to know that instead of displaying some kind of error message or removing the upload button temporarily, Envato decided to just leave it there with no changes so that everyone would get as confused as possible lol.

@BenLeong if all that is true, can you please clarify this? There is an oportunity, that this author has joined AJ before May/24, but hasnā€™t uploaded any item yet. If this is not the case, then in my opinion this state of procedure is unprofessional at the maximum level.
Envato has decided to pausing the intake of new authors, which is good and I appreciate it.
But is this state of procedure really the way you want to go ahead?

  • you still allow authors to join AJ but prevent him from uploading new items?
  • you give affected (new) authors the impression, everything is okay and he can now start uploading new items ā†’ see screenshot above
  • thereā€™s no hint, no message to affected authors, that they are unable to upload items?
  • is it really intended, that an affected author or new user has to search in the forum for the related announcement-post?

Please, take the place of a new author. He runs thru the complete registration process, fills all forms including all that tax forms, he build his profile and when it comes to the item upload, envato says ā€œSorry, we were kidding you!ā€ What do you think: Will that person ever come back to envato and will that person recommend envato as a professional platform?

Hi Skypodsound. Sorry about the confusion caused by this - weā€™re currently looking into why this message is being still being shown to people who signed up for AudioJungle after May 24th.

We paused our intake of new Audio authors on May 24, and people who signed up after that point donā€™t have access to AudioJungleā€™s upload page. During the signup process, you will have seen a notice about this - we are working on a new process for bringing audio authors on to the marketplace, but we donā€™t expect this to be ready until the end of the year. Once details are available, weā€™ll be contacting everyone who submitted an expression of interest after May 24.

@Daydreamz-Studios Thanks for tagging me into this thread. The ā€œupload your first itemā€ block definitely shouldnā€™t be displayed to new authors. Iā€™ll follow up with our UX and development teams.
