Read the license terms. The only difference between the single and extended license is that the extended license allows you to use the file in your own product which you can distribute, and also allows you to charge your clients for the service in which you use the product.
The extended license does NOT allow you to use the item for multiple installations. And this is what the buyer needed.
That’s why many authors (us included) want a developer license. This license should allow multiple installations.
