Hi !
I have submitted a HTML template in themeforest. It got soft reject.

  1. TYPOGRAPHIC HIERARCHY: The typographic hierarchy of this item requires additional work. For more information, please read: http://webdesign.tutsplus.com/articles/understanding-typographic-hierarchy--webdesign-11636

  2. SPACING AND ALIGNMENT: There are spacing and alignment issues in this item. Please make sure that all elements are aligned properly and spacing is consistent from section to section. Here are some articles with more information regarding negative space and proper spacing: http://webdesign.tutsplus.com/articles/using-white-space-or-negative-space-in-your-designs--webdesign-3401,\ http://webdesign.tutsplus.com/articles/adding-space-to-your-designs--webdesign-14836

  3. FONT COMBINATIONS: It’s recommended that you pair complementary fonts that add to the design aesthetic you’re going for. In general, a design should utilize less than three (ideally two) font variations that each compliment another — not compete for attention. Can anybody please show me what should I change? how they check Spacing and alignment of a template?

Thanks a lot!!

I recommend you don’t use the old Envato logo on your design, it looks dated and doesn’t really fit a modern website.

Up!

:thinking::thinking::thinking::thinking:

  • Code doesn’t validate

  • Fundamental basics need work and the feedback is spot on about the typography and spacing esp.

  • agree with @Toivo-Media the envato logos don;t work and feel very squashed

  • with respect, it feels very basic and I don’t think even if you addressed the typography et.c that it would be approved in such a high end and crowded category

Please help! Still the same problem!

@ThemeSLR You Can Help me please ?

:pensive::pensive::pensive:

Everything we said previously still stands - what’s the point in bumping a thread for feedback if you don’t action any advice given?

  • Envato logos don’t work

  • Code doesn’t validate

  • There are numerous issues with design basics esp. typography, spacing, consistency etc.

  • With respect even if you correct these basics as a concept it’s just not up to par or standard to compete here.
