Revolution slider not covering header

Sydney theme. Need the slider to cover the header area; like the default full-slider. The logo and menu should show, but no background bar. I could not make it work with the theme customization. Just need HOME full-slider - no other pages. Project is here: http://www.voiceovermatters.com/vom/slider-test-2/

OTHER ISSUES:

  • Revolution slider responsiveness is too small
  • Revolution slider macro to insert short-code is not showing up on pages
