Please review our HTML template. We will be so happy and pleased!

Colleagues,

We are receiving the third soft reject for our HTML template. We carefully studied all the issues mentioned and are pretty sure that we have fixed them all. Unfortunately, the last reply did not list any specific issue but just suggested to review already mentioned issues. We are slightly confused and would really appreciate your help. These are the issues that were mention in the first reject. All of them are fixed. We are specifically concerned about alignment and spacing. We explored all the materials and applied some changes but maybe we miss something?

  1. PLACEHOLDER IMAGES: Please delete the images from the main file and replace them with placeholders. http://placehold.it - Please mention this in the item description so that buyers understand photos are not included in the download.

  2. PROPER EVENT BINDING: Consider using the preferred .on() method rather than .click(), .bind(), .hover(), etc. For best performance and concise code use event delegation whenever possible: http://code.tutsplus.com/tutorials/quick-tip-javascript-event-delegation-in-4-minutes--net-8961

  3. STRICT MODE REQUIRED: All JavaScript should be written with “use strict” mode on. Please note that strict mode is scoped. For concise code it is recommened to placed

  4. SCROLLING ANIMATIONS: The scrolling animations are currently overused. Animation is a tool that should be used sparingly to help enforce the concept of your design. Please consider where you are using animations and their purpose.

  5. SPACING AND ALIGNMENT: There are spacing and alignment issues in this item. Please make sure that all elements are aligned properly and spacing is consistent from section to section. Here are some articles with more information regarding negative space and proper spacing: http://webdesign.tutsplus.com/articles/using-white-space-or-negative-space-in-your-designs--webdesign-3401,\ http://webdesign.tutsplus.com/articles/adding-space-to-your-designs--webdesign-14836

The first three is related to coding and I believe it’s clean. Have you renamed the template ZIP file before uploading?

Hi, we have not but will try.
Thank you.

Hello,

  1. keep placeholder images on your item client/purchaser file.
  2. bind this .click(), .bind(), .hover() by using .on like this .on(‘click’, function()
  3. http://prntscr.com/l3p38g
  4. reduce you layout animation.
  5. make sure that you item every section top & bottom spacing same.

hope solved your problem

Thanks
