Newpaper 9.1 them update

Running a website with Newspaper theme 9.1 version and recently purchase a new newspaper 10 license. Automatic update is not available. Please advice on how to upgrade the theme and steps to follow.

Please note that we have three ways for updating the theme which can be found in our documentation from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/ We strongly recommend to update your theme via FTP way because this is the surest method in this case. I am running Newspaper V 8.7.2 can i upgrade directly to latest version without any problem? or any recommend or way to do so?

Also, will i need to purchase the them again to do an upgrade?

Hello,

Thank you for using our theme! You have not purchase again the theme because you have access to each theme update for lifetime. In you case, if you are using an old theme version, it is not recommended to directly update the theme because it is possible to bring a lot of errors. Please note that our theme has evolved a lot until now and my recommendation is to make a new subdomain for testing where you need to make this update to avoid the live website. You can use the WP Staging plugin for that.
