There are very , very reasons. But most simple is your design.

That’s a very fair and considered response (canned or not) from Envato, as @ChernPIX has said and to quote a line from your email response, your design does not meet the minimum technical and design requirements.

I would recommend checking out some of the free resources on offer and spend some time improving your design skills until you feel you are ready to have another go.

That’s where I would start, you will need to get past the first hurdle (design) before the review team will look at your code.

The easiest way to answer your question about the problems with your design would be to compare your design with the themes already in the blog/magazine category https://themeforest.net/category/wordpress/blog-magazine that will give you a very clear idea of the standards required.

Hi there:

Your designs is too simple and basic, need add logo, navigation, etc redesigns, spacing & alignments, need redesigns all homepages & pages, etc but you need practice more.
