Muse Template Still Work?

Hello,

Please excuse my ignorance on this topic. I am in the process of overhauling my portfolio website and I see some beautiful Muse templates on here. I have never used Muse before but I am very active in Adobe.

I see that they discontinued Muse. Does this mean that these templates no longer work? Can I still download and use Muse if the templates do work or is there an alternate program that I would need to use? If I can still use Muse and the templates, would I be able to transfer to my hosting site (bluehost)? I just want to make sure that all this is feasible before I purchase a template.

As far as I know, Adobe has stated that it will not support Muse and that new versions will not be released. But users and designers can still use existing versions the same way they used to, and no longer need another application and upload it to the host as it used to.
