Can you be more specific on that, please? There are lots of themes / plugins for buying / selling things. What special features are you looking for that you can’t find in existing themes?

Have you looked at some of the Directory listings style themes on Themeforest? There are themes like AdForest, Classifieds and ClassiAds that function like Craigslist so the buyer has to contact the seller to purchase/trade but it might work for your project.
