(Locked) YouTube videos are playing in audio only, no video. Help :(

Hey everyone,

My youtube suddenly stopped playing videos properly, its opening the video page but you can only hear the audio, no videos are playing :S. A balck screen is showing instead.

I have tried unistalling flash player and reinstall it but still dint work.

Did anyone experience a similar issue?

BTW youtube embedded videos are playing normally, eg on facebook etc…

Try different browsers. If you’re using Mozilla Firefox, try to disable all extras that you might have installed, also try to clean the browser cash.

Done all that still not working, its the same in Chrome, FF, Safari and IE :frowning:

Try to install this:

It is a pack containing a lot of audio and video codecs. :slight_smile:

Also, if you have some similar pack installed, uninstall it and use ccleaner to “remove” the left trash.

What OS are you using?

if you see only black screen try to turn ON your monitor, it helps to some peoples.
