Kalium Theme - Was working, but now can't install Advanced Custom Fields PRO

I purchased the Kalium theme and added a number of Portfolio items and was able to select the “Item Type” in the past. Everything was working. After stepping away from my project for a few weeks I came back to it yesterday and can no longer see these options. It looks like the Advanced Custom Fields PRO (Required) is no longer installed. I tried installing via the Labrador - Plugins and when I go through the procedures it seems to install and I am able to activate. However in reality it doesn’t work as I still can’t see the options and when I return to the Labrador - Plugins area, it once again says that I need to install ACF PRO. I looked into it deeper by going to my debug.log file and the notice says.

Any help is appreciated as I am now completely blocked.

Contact the theme author for the support

I figured out the issue. Kalium theme was not notifying in the WordPress Admin that there was an update available from 3.6 to 3.7 unfortunately since the admin didn’t show there being an update available, there was no “Update” button to select. I had to download the latest theme from themeforest an then manually update it through the FTP client. This also overwrote my child theme and cause a lot of extra work, just to get back to my original spot.
