Joing a PRO

Hello everybody!

I have a question regarding PRO. I have uploaded my catalog on AJ this last year without being registered in any PRO. I want to register my catalog to BMI and add the PRO information to all my AJ tracks. Is it ok if I do that or am I violating the agreement somehow?

Hi Davide,

Not at all. Once upon a time it wasn’t allowed, but since 2016 it is fully permitted. I definitely recommend joining a PRO - just be prepared to wait a year or two to start seeing royalties. The cue sheet system is still very antiquated in this day and age.
