Im pretty new to web dev and wordpress so please be gentle…
I’ve bought and downloaded the Jobify Theme and uploaded it to my site via WordPress but when I open to view the site its in a blog format and not the bought-for package.
Have I done something wrong or does it need building/customizing from scratch?

WP themes do not look like the demo until you instal the demo (or your own) content.
Check the theme documentation which will cover this process and bear in mind that images are not typically included as the author does not have the rights to redistribute those.
