Thanks, I’m checking the links.

Thanks @Parallelus, the fix worked. I hope you can bundle the fix into the installation.
Best regards
This theme is super hard to customise, considering the money spent. Please guide to the right documentation and/or starter guide. Other themes for the same price range are much easier to use.
I was looking over the framework, everything looks very well done and I love the name you chose, it’s very fitting. It’s clear how much time has been put into developing the framework. Good luck with everything!
I saw your video review and article about attaining Power Elite status, congratulations! Must be a great feeling, I hope to attain it as well someday, successful and hardworking people like yourself are an inspiration.
@Themefyre, did you buy the Vellum theme? Have you tried installing it and setting up a site? Please share your experience, any hints are beneficial.
Thanks @Parallelus
Your support was fast and super!
Managed to resolve the issues… Awesome theme and very powerful
Thanks for your help.
Hello.
I got some question why you planned to developed the layouts manager and content types for this?
We got visual composer .
I`m thinking that people don’t need this feature at all, it’s a little wired for them.
Waiting to hear what you planned for it or what is the main benefits for it.
Thank you.
And great job .

A content builder like Visual Composer and our Layout Manager serve very different functions. The features of Visual Composer are only relevant to a single page/post and cannot effect anything outside that scope. Layouts created with the Layout Manager are capable of applying large scale changes, site wide, from a centralized location. The layouts are essentially a replacement for WordPress template pages. Instead of creating a custom template PHP file to achieve a page with a right and left sidebar, now you just open the Layout Manager and create this in the admin and apply it where you need.
Another example of how it could be applied, if you had a site that was broken into sections, for example a news site with 5 main areas and each area had a unique color, header graphic and footer, the Layout Manager would let you make those design applications directly from the admin. You could assign the custom colors, design elements, headers and footers to each of the 5 sections and all of the pages, posts and other content in those areas would adopt the look automatically. If you ever needed to change something about one of those areas, you simple edit that one layout and the change is applied universally to every place on the site using that layout. That’s not possible with a content builder where you instead go running around your site making updates to every page.
Another thing you can do with the layout manager is create areas to be populated with widgets, or pages or static blocks or any other custom post type. While it’s possible to use a content builder for similar functionality, it leaves you with a problem for updates. If you ever want to modify the structure of pages created with a content builder you have to edit every page but the layout manager is centralized. It also gives you control over assigning custom headers and footers, this just isn’t possible from a content builder at all.
I hope that helps!
pete9999 saidOuch!! Just purchased Ultimatum a week ago but will give this framework a try and give feedback.
Meh! I’m in the same boat spent 100 bucks already.
I was wondering if there was any video training available yet for this? I know there was talk of it.
We were just meeting yesterday to talk about a big launch that is coming up for Runway. Part of this will be additional tutorials, guides, documentation and even videos. I’ve made an additional note to the meeting notes from yesterday to include special mention of this. We had talked about a big video walk-through but I also want to do individual video tutorials and build a library.
We are pushing out a massive update with hundreds changes, improvements and new features possibly at the end of this week and shortly after that we will be releasing some pretty cool stuff to accompany the new version, including additions to our website. Shortly after that we will be putting a lot of time into building out more documentation, product information and video tutorials will become an important part of that process going forward.
Sounds awesome - looking forward to seeing the new updates
Again, thanks so much for putting all these efforts in a framework that can greatly benefit other users, that’s the spirit!

Couldn’t have said it better myself, +1
Thanks so much, I am really looking forward to it
Andy, you will be pleased to know we are building our new theme using runway. We made the switch last night while 3/4 way through building on Underscores with Redux. After 2 days of playing again with runway, we had that magical Ahaaaa moment where the penny dropped. And all I can say is WOWser. I have Vellum, so will pull it apart to see where you have hooked a few things in so I get a much more in depth understanding.
Thank you mate for your support to date. Looking forward to getting our story theme out asap under the runway banner.
Andy, I have to say Vellum built on Runway is simply stunning and is so easy to use as a live fireframe tool. You can see here how I have used it in a wireframe strategy.

NOTE: Anyone thinking about how to start building themes using Runway, I would strongly suggest buying Vellum as a starting point to get to understand how powerful it is when you start using even the static pages coupled with a sidebar manager plugin which adds the features of conditional logic of the custom sidebars you can build with Runway.
@mcollins
That is awesome! We’re glad you’re having as much fun with Vellum and Runway as we had making them. Runway is really a powerful tool and we have been so busy making improvements and helping users making some pretty amazing sites with it. There are some big names (can’t say who just yet) that are building their sites with Runway. We just released v1.1 of Runway last week and it’s already showing huge results. There are hundreds of updates in this release and it brings even greater functionality and stability to Runway.
We have a big update to the website coming out very soon that adds some great tools for even faster development with Runway. I’m also, this week, pushing all the Extensions out to public repositories on Github so you can get involved in the development of these and pull the changes to the development version on a daily basis. It’s going to really push the community involvement forward and make it that much easier to get started.
Look for our announcements on Twitter (@runwaywp) as this summer is going to be full of surprises and a very exciting time in the evolution of the Runway framework.
Hello I came across Runway and tried it out.
Seems to be nice and easy to setup a solid theme.
My question is, can we use it to upload a theme to Themeforest?
Since the “requirements” i read in previous posts.
Besides that, I don’t see the framework listed on Themeforest when uploading a theme.
Thanks for the good work, really good job.
Hi @feeling4design,
Yes you can use this as your framework for building the next most incredible theme and upload to Themeforest. With the upload you can use the Tags until Themeforest update the theme framework list to include Runway.

Thank you for the info mcollins, that’s all I needed to know, then I will go ahead with it
