You will get proper help in theme documentation. Almost all theme has one click demo import features, you can use that to import demo.

If i purchased the Avada theme and i have a few demos i can use. Can actually this demo could be my theme? or i only have the demo for a short time? and also, when i import the demo, none of my content was imported so i have to do it post by post?

Yes, you can use theme demo as your website theme.

You have to follow thw theme documentation how to import theme demo. Also you can contact theme author for more to know.
