Avada Demo Theme import to existing website

Hi there,
I want to import a Demo Theme as I want to update and re-do my current site. But before I touch it, I would like to know what happens to the current pages/content. I really want to avoid that the whole website is screwed up and would prefer to work on the new theme in the background and go life once once the new pages are ready and then simply delete the old content.
How can I do that?
The only content I would like to take over 1-to-1 are my blog posts.
Any suggestions/instructions are much appreciated.

Hi,

Please do not take risk before contacting Item Author. Contact your purchased Item Author. Just go to Item details page then click Support tab and Click “Contact Author” button.

Thanks! I bought Avada 5 years ago and build a really simple website myself. Now I would like to change to a Demo theme and cannot gets support anymore as my purchase is too long ago - just checked it out! hmmm, not sure how to solve it without taking the risk…thanks anyway.

Hi,

Then you can try to do it at your local pc mean localhost and when all will be done as you need then you can upload at your live server.
