Hi all, just wondering if anyone knew of a robust image rollover plugin for Wordpress - one that ideally fades on mouseover. There’s a lot of this inside themes, but I need something standalone and thought I might have found something here, but no luck as of yet

Thanks, but I actually tried that - and there’s no transition between the two images (which I should’ve mentioned I need) and sounds like it has problems in IE…
oh i see, you after something which when you roll over images you see a ‘view now’ or similar? (like you see in some TF themes?)
If so iv nearly finished one! basically just add a class to images and the uses that class to jqurey whatever you want over the image
If thats the kinda thing you want ill try and get a demo up for you iv my work so far

Nope - never happened; sorry for the slow response. The ‘Go - Portfolio’ plugin worked well for me in what I required

i just came across this thread, I’ve been searching for the same type of plugin for the past 2 weeks. I would like to create this type of effect on my images with mouse rollovers http://www.vmagazine.com.
I tried mouseover too, but there is no speed setting so it doens’t have the same smooth, elegant effect.
I was wondering if you ever found something that worked and if so, if you might be able to pass the name on so I can look it up…

Not really anything that I came upon, unfortunately.
Since you have an example in place, and it’s something very clear that you’d like to achieve, I would recommend simply posting in the CodeCanyon forums, or on Microlancer, for a freelancer who might be interested in taking up the work. If it’s a Wordpress plugin you’re after, there are a lot of great developers out there and you probably wouldn’t need to pay a great deal to achieve what you’re looking to do.
