I cannot open secondary tabs using Avada (Fusion builder)

Hello, I have a website built using Avada and I normally create pages using the fusion builder. Since a while now, I am not able to open the secondary tabs of elements and containers, such as the Background and Design tabs. I click on them and they simply do not open, even if the url changes by putting the #background or #design at the end. But nothing happens.
Thus I cannot change colours and other options.
Could it be caused by the fact that I have an older php version (7.3.6)? Or do I need to find another solution?
