Hi,
I want to use Lightroom presets in Photoshop for my new project. I selected some old film lightroom presets here - https://www.presetsfactory.com/old-film-lightroom-presets/
Can anyone tell me the complete steps how can use these Lightroom presets in Photoshop.
Thanks & Regards
Sofia
Unzip preset if zipped and then:
On Windows go to C:\Users[USERNAME]\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\CameraRaw\Settings and paste preset there.
Om MAC Go > Go to Folder and ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/CameraRaw/Settings and paste preset there.
Open Adobe Camera RAW and your presets would be there.
Before you start, preset should be in XMP format.

You can use Lightroom presets in Photoshop by first applying them in Adobe Camera Raw. Just open your RAW or JPEG file in ACR, load the preset, tweak as needed, and save.
I appreciate the step-by-step approach. Just to confirm, when you open a JPEG file in ACR, do you find that the adjustments from the Lightroom presets translate well? Sometimes I worry about losing detail or color accuracy.
