I need to change the background of the main page and the colors of the header.

Depending on the theme this could be theme settings, done by editing settings in a page builder, or else just modify the CSS

The theme is Avada.

Depends on if you mean one page or all pages but best option is to ask the author to be sure (although it’s a fairly easy change once you are in the admin)
